The Role
People at Goldman Sachs are willing to help and teach you. I learned a lot about the whole division, meeting people from all levels of hierarchy.
From the most senior people to analysts, everyone cares about your wellbeing at the firm. You feel part of the company as soon as you join.
HR were available at any time during the process, guiding us among desks and helping us define our preferences. They are there to maximize our chances to get an offer in a team that we like.
I was working from 7 AM to 7-8 PM. I came once during the weekend.
During this placement, I did not have much responsibilities as the goal is to get to learn about different roles and asset classes. I was working on projects.
This internship helped me manage priorities and digest a lot of information.
The Company
The atmostphere is great at the office, people are willing to meet and help interns.
The programme was rotational : 5 1-week rotations and 1 2-weeks rotation. HR were in charge of the organization and they were available at all time.
We had training about roles and areas of the division at the beginning of the internship. Then, throughout the internship, we had more training more job-specific.
Sports and Social Club

The propects are really appealing and I would like to join the firm as a trader
The Culture
Yes, the atmosphere was really nice among interns. We helped each other on projects and advise each other on teams we rotated with.
The cost of living was pretty expensive for interns because the office is located in the City
There was no real nightlife in the area where I worked
Yes, we had Community teamwork and I got to spend one day at an association.
