The Role
Extremely well organised so that you learn as much as you can for the 10 weeks that you are here. Projects involve quite lot of responsibility and are generally used later, which is very encouraging as an intern.
Valued, but definitely be open to learning as the knowledge of any intern is, objectively, hugely limited.
Manager is always accessible to talk to, though everyone is very busy so taking initiative to do so is essential! But they will make time for sure.
Extremely, but the working hours depend hugely on the division: IBD > Securities > Technology, for instance.
A lot considering all that I have still to learn!
Extremely. As a strat, I have been exposed to several new programming languages and systems and become a lot more technically competent. This constant experience to tech platforms never seen before combined by the need to solve complex problems within aa very short time frame has definitely made me more malleable and agile in this respect.
The Company
Good friendships with interns and full-time employees.
Extremely well. For the first 3/4 there were regular training sessions to expose us to the different desks and what different parts of the company do.
Hugely. There has been abundant training and there are many online training platforms to learn from. You just need to find the time to go through them as you need.

Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very. Intellectually speaking it has been very stimulating and frankly the company takes really good care of you as an employee: subsided dinners, flexibility, social events, great onsite gym... You work a lot but at the same time the company does facilitate a lot around you to make it work.
The Culture
Yes. There may be a bit of competition among interns in other divisions but not where I was at.
Expensive. Much spent on food and transport.
N/A
Social events regularly organised (once every week/ two weeks?).
