    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed coming to the office every day, the environment is very friendly and supportive. No struggle was work-related and if you have a problem or make mistakes, no one is going to be mad at you for it.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My colleagues were very helpful and patient, I felt very welcomed in the team and nobody has been acting in a bad way towards me. Everyone is willing to help others, no matter how busy they are.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • A lot of support and guidance is given. Everyone is busy but they always try to help you whenever they can. Sometimes being trained by senior employees is a little more struggling because they tend to be very busy, but you can count on everybody else in the meantime and come back to the senior people when they are free.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was not very with BAU activities, but I was busy with trainings, meetings, workshadowing sessions and networking events. They do not assign inters too much work in order to let them have the time to explore the firm and meet a lot of people from other teams and divisions.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • When they give you some work to do, it is your responsibility to get it done. As I said, we were not given with too much work but we still had responsibilities.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have been learning a lot about financial products I never studies in depth or never studied at all at university. Also, I have learned how much risk is important, which was not really emphasized during my university lectures.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was much more better than my expectations. I expected to be in a very competitive environment, but it turned out tot be the opposite. For sure there is healthy competitions within employees but every still supports everyone else. Also it was very fun to come to the office being everyone very friendly.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Training sessions were provided in the first weeks, after that it was our responsibility trying to go meet other people and learn from them. Throughout the whole internship there have been networking events to let us know more and more people.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was very impressed with how much energy the firm put into training interns, even though not everyone form the intern class will come back, they invest a lot in each one of us.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Subsidised Canteen

    Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The only thing stopping me form saying that I will 100% come back is the possibility to continue my studying. Based only on the firm and my experience, I want for sure to come back.

    5/5

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement 西瓜视频s/colleagues?
  • Yes we have had many opportunities to get ot know each other at the beginning of the internship and still had events to meet each other all the way to the end.

    5/5
