The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship. I gained perspective on the overall financial sector, the individual impact of our work and what we produce for clients.
I felt valued by every member of my team. Every level of seniority treated me the same, and got me involved in a wide range of work and were all very friendly.
I never felt alone in my work. If i want to know something in more detail, then there was always someone on hand to help. No question was too silly, and this allowed me to make the most of the internship experience.
I was busy pretty much at all times. Although pressured work comes and goes, and this allowed me to have a mix of low pressure, low impact and high pressure, high impact work. All the work was very fulfilling.
I was left to work on a major part of work, for a very large company. This was great exposure, and I greatly appreciated the opportunity.
The excel training was highly useful, and the job has given me a good idea of what working in this sector is like, allowing me to finish my final year with more perspective of the world of work.
The Company
A great mix of fun and professionalism from all levels of staff.
