The Role
Everyone at PwC was very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the work hard play hard culture and loved how even when people were busy, they still took the time to answer my questions. I learned a lot and got exposure to different divisions, which helped me make an informed decision for my graduate role.
I got along well with my colleagues. They gave me real work, went out for lunch and for drinks with me - can't complain!
My manager/ supervisor was very approachable and willing to answer any questions I had.
The first few days were slow but as I showed people that I was keen to learn, I started getting more and more meaningful work.
I took responsibility for a few tasks, and assisted another associate/ senior associate on more complicated ones, so it was a good balance.
I learned a lot of technical knowledge/ skills, as well as developed my communication and interpersonal skills.
The Company
Relatively casual, people can dress casually if they are not seeing clients on that day.
The nature of Deals means that it's difficult to have consistent and stable flow of work, but I can see the effort of resourcing team to try and get me involved in a variety of projects.
I had 3 days of training and networking outside of London, which were very pleasant and helpful. I also received casual training on the job and really liked the prevalent coaching culture across Deals.

Working from home
Definitely come back if I get an offer. PwC offers a lot of flexibility in terms of relocating/ transferring to another division/ geographical location.
The Culture
Depending on the team's culture - every team is different, but all teams have social events at least monthly, if not weekly/ bi-monthly.
London is expensive, but the starting salary is good enough for everyday living at a budget and occasional socialising events.
There are many pubs and restaurants around, and it's only 15 minutes by tube to Soho.
There are many volunteering events, clubs and interests groups for people to get involved.
