The Role
It was a great experience in general. A lot of resources are invested in interns, and people are generally very nice. I feel that my work has been valued and I appreciate that. The programme is very well planned and organised. And we are encouraged to foster good working habits.
My work is consistently appreciated and the colleagues do show their appreciation. Also, I feel that I am valued and treated like a team member that genuinely belongs to the team. The atmosphere is very inclusive and I surely enjoyed working at the firm. It was better than I would have expected.
My people manager and my buddy were very supportive. They were constantly around when I needed any help. We were assigned to have mid-term and final review with our people managers, and that really helped me in reflecting what I have done and how I could have done better, so that I can improve myself.
The responsibility grew steadily. There were some quiet days but things got much better towards the end. I was given more challenging work and individual work and I enjoyed working on the tasks that I was given. I didn't have to stay late over the six weeks and people were very kind to remind me to go home on time.

I gained a better understanding in what I learnt in university as it was applied in real life. I like seeing how things are actually done in the business world. I also got the opportunity to improve on my excel skills. I realised that I still have a long way to go!
The Company
Different teams had different atmospheres. Some were more quiet and some were more relaxed. I enjoyed both personally because they both have advantages. I like how people interact with each other. It makes working at PwC even more enjoyable. Overall, the atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. It was great experience.
It was really well organised, from the start to the end. I can tell that it is a programme that has been run for years, with fresh elements added and adjusted each year. The residential induction was enjoyable and the actual working was fulfilling, too. This programme is much more well-organised that I would have expected.
I can tell it is a pretty heavy investment, from the three-day residential fully-paid to the online training courses that we could do. I enjoyed learning at the firm and felt that it is trully a firm that cares about personal training and development of employees and that is exactly why it is one of the best employers around the world.
Company Parties/Events
People were keen to explain to me what their career paths have been look like. And from this internship, I gained a much better idea about the career prospect that I would have if I accept a full-time offer. It is very appealing and I would say it's an excellent place to start our career.
The Culture
I joined some of the socials that were held during my internship and I really had a good time. People are fun to talk too and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I found that people at the firm really work hard and play hard. I like this aspect very much.
It was in central London, so the cost of living would be very high obviously. However, in terms of socialising, there were many good restaurants and pubs around the area, so an ideal place to socialise after work and enjoy some good food with our friends. There were many cafes around the area too.

There were plenty of events that were held. If you are a sports person, there are plenty of sports clubs that you can join. Also, there are sports social for you to go to, too. Overall, there were many events that we could go to, and i'm sure people will enjoy themselves there.
