The Role
It was a really insightful internship that I benefited from greatly and will go on to take further into my career.
Everyone was really welcoming and although they were busy, I did feel part of the community and connected well with several people.
My supervisors were very busy with other tasks most of the time. That being said, they made a great effort to make time for me and to ensure that my internship was worthwhile.
There were some days when I had less work than others, however in general, it was well spread out and I felt like I was appropriately challenged.
I didn't know anything about the particular team I and the challenges they were tackling before I joined them and so understandably, the amount of responsibility I was given was limited. However, I did feel part of the team and was given an appropriate amount of influence.
A lot of the things that I developed throughout these 6 weeks will help me throughout my future career. Although the technical knowledge may not carry through to my studies, there are transferable skills that I will retain.
The Company
As mentioned before, everyone was pretty busy whilst I was there. It was quite stressful at times for people, however I felt that there was a real family spirit and everyone was working together with good humour and so the atmosphere was actually very agreeable given the circumstances.
The internship was really well set up in general. There were times in my work where I felt that it was impossible for my managers to prepare work for me as they weren't sure about what their own work might be in the future. That was just the nature of the work.
I feel that the firm did invest a great deal into us through people managers and teams of people working behind the scenes to ensure that we were looked after. However, one of the things I liked was that the firm allowed us to develop growth independently as well.

Company Parties/Events
I was offered a position with PwC at the end of my internship and I would be very happy to accept it.
The Culture
There was only 1 other intern with me, but we bonded well and i enjoyed her company when we were working together.
I was not living close to the area I worked (Milton Keynes) as I lived in London and so commuted 4 hours each day. Thus the cost of living in the area I'm not familiar with.
I was never able to experience the nightlife in Milton Keynes as I was always in London during the evenings.
Yes there clearly were a lot of opportunities available to the employees of the company. i personally was not able to experience many as we were in a busy time and there happened not to be that many socials at this time of year.
