About You
It was great. I got to learn a lot as well as get an insight on how the investment banking works. I thought the people were very friendly and the employees of very high caliber. I also thought the free coffee that was always available was pretty cool for a bank.
I felt that I did not have a lot of impact in terms of work however I thought I was liked.
I received a lot of guidance with continuous one on one sessions with my mentor, buddy and sponsor.
I dont know yet however I do believe the interpersonal skills I received will be super beneficial.
The Company
It took a long time to get used to the systems however it was perfect.
great fun for me and my newly found friends in the UK.
Goldman sachs as a firm introduced me to a network of highly educated people.
It helped me decide which teams I prefer over others which is a good thing.
This insight showed me the company in all different corners.
some days were better than others but mostly the days were well planned.
Everything Else
they paid me very well for the time that I was here.
Of course, there were opportunities all over the place. All you had to do was send a calendar invite.
They were really cool as there were a number of affinity networks.
Yes we did. the gold man work life balance is a must have.
Yes I would definitely. Lots of learning and you get reimbursed.
