The Role
I really enjoyed working for PwC. It gave me a broad experience and allowed me to learn a lot on Forensic accounting and what it all includes. The people at PwC are really amazing and great to work with.
I was amazed by how nice everyone is and how much people understand differences in culture and diversity.
We had a mentor, placement coordinator people manager and buddy = great support!
It took some time at the beginning to really get stuck into work but once I was assigned to a project, I was never bored again. The good thing is that there was a lot of Business Development work around to do so even in your free time, you can find things to do.
It obviously takes time until people start trusting you. Once my colleagues saw what I am capable off, I was given jobs that were previously done by associates.
I believe I have learnt a lot and skills such as time management will come in very handy in my last year at university.
The Company
I managed to work in a couple of offices over the year and the atmosphere was really nice. I really enjoyed coming to work every day.
As I mentioned in a previous answer, we had a special placement coordinator so we were constantly looked after and it was really well organised.
We received training and development days about our department and LoS. Overall, it was really good
National Travel
Working from home
Very good and I am looking forward joining them.
The Culture
Yes. All the BP in our department got friendly with each other and the rest of the team.
London is a very expensive place to live in
I am not a big nightlife person so hard to tell.
Yes, there are many opportunities were you can get involved in such as the social and charity committee and the One Firm One Day.
