The Role
Very high-quality people and challenging programme. We were given large amounts of responsibility early on, but excellent training and resources to support us. Work is very intellectually challenging, and your team will try to tailor the work they assign you to take advantage of any experience abroad or foreign languages you speak. Very impressed with the other interns and full-time employees; the environment is high-performance and competitive but harsh or cut-throat. Work load was quite busy and the hours are long, but were less than expected and the work is always engaging - the day goes by quite quickly. Overall the experience matched my expectations; I was very impressed by the people and the firm and would highly recommend it if your personality fits with Goldman's culture.
