    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The internship program has been set up very well. The moment you get in the focus lies on meeting on new people and that really helps when you know nobody when you arrive. This makes you feel more comfortable the moment you really start doing the work.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My colleagues have taken me into the team with enthusiasm the moment I arrived. They have done everything to make me feel apart of their team this summer

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager has been very very helpful and gave me the opportunity to join in meetings and learn a lot. I have been very lucky with a manager like this as I have been able to ask him anything and that made the experience so much better.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days very very busy and that was actually quite nice as you are really challenged. Other days a bit less but I think that is how your day to day job would also look like so it gives a good representation.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Some responsibility but this is difficult of course to measure. They gave me cool projects that I had to work on myself and was responsible for.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The training's are very good and the focus lies more on the development of how you rep recent yourself. That was very nice however I am pursuing a technical master degree so these skills will probably not help me in my studies but more later on in life.

    3/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It is good, all the people are very nice and friendly however improvements can always be made. Maybe a bit more focus can lie on having fun outside the office as well. Within the office everyone is very friendly but most of the time when you ask to have a drink after work most people don't want to and just go home.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very good as I already mentioned. The program is very good it is a nice combination of the general program and actual day to day work on the desk. I really enjoined the set up of the internship and the focus on meeting people is also something I really enjoyed.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We had a lot of training sessions that where interesting. However I do feel that some of the training sessions where not very useful and other on the counter side where. It is difficult to schedule that but overall the training and sessions where really good.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Sports and Social Club

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I think the firm works very hard to assure the best for her employees. That is really something that you feel when you are in the firm. Compared to other firms I think it is very appealing.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement 西瓜视频s/colleagues?
  • It was okay. we had drinks now and than but I did not really have the feeling everyone tried to join events together after work. Most of the interns within IMD are actually studying in London. This means that intern group is actually not that diverse as most of the people study in london or near londen and already have a social life in london. This does not really help the group feeling.

    3/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Very very expensive. Everything you do in London, especially near the firm is very very expensive.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I do not really now as we went out in places not near the office. The bars and pubs are definitely nice but clubs I do not really know.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • A view. But I think this is something most interns not yet do. I think when you are working here that will be way more.
