The Role
It was an amazing experience to work at Goldman Sachs.
I was positively surprised by the internal culture in Goldman Sachs and by the attention that senior people give to juniors in order to leverage their knowledge and let them make an impact in the team.
All of the teams, including HCM, have been extremely supportive during the program.
We were not overloaded with work, and we had time to discover the areas we are interested in and meet new people from different desks.
The projects that were given to us corresponded to our knowledge level.
I learned more at GS than I did during the last year of University.
The Company
Extremely positive.
HCM managed our internship very well.
Goldman does invest a lot in its people, and we could feel this being interns at the desk.
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
GS focuses a lot on finding the rights people for every desk placement available.
The Culture
We had a very good intern class and we keep contact with each other. At Goldman, there is a culture of intern class generations that keep in touch even after they start full time work.
Living costs are high, but otherwise it is the same as in Europe.
We did not go out a lot, but the places we have visited in London were amazing.
Goldman organizes volunteering events and team-building activities for its summer interns every year.
