The Role
I have really enjoyed my year placement, it has taught me so much and it has helped me grow an immense amount, both personally and professionally. I wouldn't change it.
I have never felt undervalued. My work is always appreciated and it is always recognised by someone.
Hays provide some of the best training in the industry. They're not going to leave you floundering in the deep end, they make sure you're supported and actually understand what you're doing. I was given great support and could approach someone if I needed to discuss something.
I like being busy and I can say I have not been bored in this role. You are given real responsibility and this keeps you very busy.
I have been given a great deal of responsibility during my placement year and from that responsibility I have been trusted with more, something which I have relished,
I have gained so many transferable skills during my year here, all of which will be extremely useful when I go back to University for my final year and thereafter during future employment.
The Company
The general atmosphere in my office is always positive. I have never felt like it is a negative place to work. Due to the meritocratic environment, we are always celebrating our achievements and successes, whilst reflecting and evaluating where we can progress further.
Hays deliver excellent training, and this is something which is very important. They really look after you and help develop and train you.

Company Parties/Events
Very appealing. The line of progression at Hays is very transparent and the promotions are attainable if you want it and work hard to achieve it.
The Culture
It's Birmingham City Centre so it can vary. If you're buying lunch everyday it can get quite pricey, I would recommend bringing your own lunches in if you can.
It's good! So many places to go
