The Role
Challenging environment with lots of exciting technologies. The work that I did felt valuable and I felt like I was always learning.
Was given equal say in almost all meetings and my opinions on technical matters felt very valued. I made an impact
I felt like i was always able to ask questions and seek guidance when needed. Lots of helpful sessions on different technologies as well, which helped to kickstart some of my projects
Sometimes i was waiting for things to be reviewed and such but that's just what its like at big companies. Id rather get people to check my code and make sure its the best that it can be. Other than that, I felt like it was a good balance.
I owned my project and was the person who drove it the most
Some of them are quite niche but useflul nevertheless
The Company
Fast paced and exciting, lots going on around the offices and being in the center of london is a big plus as well. It's a really friendly atmosphere as well, I never felt under fire from anyone and everything is chilled out
Brilliant. Lots of events were put on at the start to help with integration and training - getting people up to speed with work. People from all different backgrounds were put through the same training so that when we started work, everyone was where they needed to be. social events througout the year were very good as well, a nice mix of fun and networking.
Review sessions proved to be very useful

As its my first ever job it's hard to say but i enjoyed it very much and cant really think of too many ways to improve on it!
The Culture
Lots of things going on between interns and placement 西瓜视频s, alongside the company organised events. It's very easy to set things up
London is never cheap - but i didnt ever feel like I was being stretched
I lived quite far out from london so the travel was a bit of a downer
Yes but i didnt do any of them so i cant really vouch
