About You
I truly enjoyed every part of the Spring Internship at Goldman Sachs. I met so many new people and learnt so much in only two weeks! All the activities were intellectually stimulating and very interesting. A really incredible experience!
I felt really valued during my time at the company. Everyone involved in the Spring Internship was taking care of us and doing everything possible to ensure that we were making the most out of the program.
I received a lot of support during the internship. Anyone from the buddy that was assigned to me, to HR, to the professionals that were involved in our program, to every employee that I met at the firm was happy to help and talk about their role and experience.
I am sure that the knowledge and the skills that I developed during my internship are going to be very useful in my degree studies and my career. I acquired a lot of new technical knowledge that will definitely help me at university, while learning about the industry and realizing that I definitely want to pursue a career in it.
The Company
The program was very well structured. We had a busy schedule full of interesting, useful and diverse sessions.
I liked the general atmosphere during the insight! Everyone was friendly and helpful, which made the program very enjoyable.
Even if I was at the firm for only two weeks, the company really invested in my training and development. We had multiple training sessions from experienced professionals and the company made a lot of facilities available to me.
The program really helped me understand that I would love to have a full time role at the company. The opportunity to workshadow teams and talk to employees individually gave me a real sense of what it is like to work at the firm.
The insight really helped me in understanding the company culture. During my workshadowing sessions I was able to see how employees really work according to the values and business principles of the company.
The content of the internship was very valuable in helping me decide on my future career. It gave me insight in what the industry is about, with great breadth and depth. It made me develop a stronger fascination for the field.
Everything Else
I was paid and reimbursed all travel expenses. In addition, the company provided me with accommodation for the duration of the insight program.
There were plenty of opportunities to network and meet different employees. It was also very easy to create myself additional opportunities to meet employees of specific teams or areas individually! Everyone at the company, even if not directly involved in the Spring program, was happy take some time to meet, talk about their role, answer any questions and even organize small workshadowing sessions outside of my schedule!!
There were plenty of networking and social events, both with other interns and with employees at the firm!
I found out about many activities that employees can get involved in outside of work. Employees at Goldman Sachs are involved in different networks, events and volunteering opportunities!
I would recommend this insight to everyone! It is an incredible opportunity to network, be intellectually stimulated and challenged and learn a lot of new things!
