    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The spring programme offers a good combination of presentations, debates, group project and work shadowing sessions. It is the best internship experience for me so far as it truly allowed me to learn about various different aspects of the firm and it offered lots of in-depth insights into the division I chose to intern in.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • The current employees made every effort to help and guide the interns through presentations and group projects. You are allowed to reach out to anyone whom you feel you may get some advice from. The HR team encouraged everyone to do this and the firm has made it especially easy to do so. Project mentors will listen to all your ideas and give suggestions accordingly.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • 5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The information I received was not particularly relevant to my degree but some of the skills I picked up, for example, what kind of news in the media to pay attention to and how to work effectively in a group will surely help me in my degree studies.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was extremely well structured. There was generally a right balance between presentations and other more hands-on activities and interactive sessions.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • People at the firm were extremely nice and respectful . I also very much enjoyed working with other interns, who were all very active, hard-working and fun people. There was not much competition, but rather lots of collaboration among the interns, which was a little unexpected.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The HR team invited current employees from all sub-divisions in the division I chose. There was also a significant among of time dedicated to networking sessions with all the interns and senior management as well.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The programme itself is an excellent insight into the division. However, due to the short period of the programme, we were not able to do any real work, except for the project we worked on. However, I think the work shadowing sessions in general provided a good sense of people's daily work at the firm.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • It very much helped me understand the firm culture. Through presentations and networking sessions, we were able to listen to many stories of the company and lots of personal experiences.

    3/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • I think it provided a good sense of what it will be like to work in the financial services industry and it turned out that I loved the firm culture and the pace of work there. I think in general it was very informative.

    3/5
