The Role
It fantastic. My interest in finance excelled during these weeks.
Everyone was very nice. The impression of the bank has been great so far in terms of the people working there.
When you got to the office on the orientation day, things weren't really clear what you were supposed to do during the internship and what it would eventually lead to. But thanks to Chloe and our supervisors, the guidance and support we were given was extremely helpful.
Quite busy but I enjoyed my projects a lot. I've always had a great interest in the financial markets, therefore working and doing reserach about the markets was something I found fun and interesting.
I didn't do any actual work for my team beyond the project I got from them during the 9 days at Goldman Sachs. But the projects I worked on included some responsibility and in the group project especially. I believe that I took a lot of responsibility due to my past experience with financial markets.
This was a great experience in many ways. Mostly because it motivated a lot to work harder in order to have a career within finance but of course, also because I've learned tons of new things. It's been a pleasure taking part of the daily activities at Goldman Sachs.
The Company
Very good. Everyone was so nice and it helped me that the rest of my team spoke swedish, which is my native language.
The projects I got assigned, were very interesting and I enjoyed a lot that we had som actual desk time during the two weeks. I think that my placement maybe could have been a bit more technical in terms of the division I spent my desk time with. But apart from that, it was great.
It was good to have all these different kinds of sessions that we had to get a broader picture of the firm but personally, I'd enjoy a bit more technical session with more finance training and development. Maybe some more in depth equity and bond valuation sessions.

Financial Bonus
I would love to work at Goldman Sachs. As the finance nerd I am, I believe there's no other place were I could develop my skills as much is would do at Goldman Sachs.
The Culture
All the other spring interns were very nice.
London is in general expensive but I believe the compensation from Goldman Sachs was good. We didn't need to pay for either the flight or the accommodation.
The restaurants were nice. I don't have too much of experience from the nightlife in London.
Yes, we had lots of opportunities to go to the gym at Goldman Sachs.
