About You
Spring interns although not very experienced were taking seriously and everyone no matter how senior, was happy to answer our questions, help on a case study or meet up for a catch-up.
We were constantly receiving feedback on our performance as a group and GS made all in its power to provide us with all the necessary tools needed for the case studies, networking and learning. A personal feedback was also made available during a dedicated to that purpose session.
It's hard to argue the opposite. Having a GS training and stamp of approval is what every informed Economics / Finance / Business major strives for, in my opinion.
The Company
It is very well structured. It's hard to argue that there wasn't enough to engage with. However, a curious mind is hard to satiate. I wish there were even more educational sessions.
The atmosphere at the firm was welcoming though demanding. But all kinds of support were provided. The only issue that I encountered was with very few people from our interns cohort. Some were solved by collaboration, some seemed to be irreconcilable.
So far the biggest investment in my training (after tuition fees)
By the end of the two weeks it exhausted all my questions about the job.
It was emphasized and described in every talk.
Quite valuable, but finance is such a broad field. It's hard at this stage to arrive to a final decision. But it did help shape my preferences.
Everything Else
Thank you!
Yes. Plenty. One would probably need an extra week to be able to exhaust them.
Well organised. I preferred the format where GS MDs and VPs were rotating, rather when that was left upon the interns.
Some. Not sure if there were more.
Yes.
