About You
I really enjoyed the insight.
Very valued since people were willing to spend time off their work to talk to us.
It varied, yet in general I always felt there was someone I could reach out to if I needed help.
Enormously, in terms of knowledge since I learnt more in these 2 weeks that in my whole first year of Economics. I also improved my networking, time management and team collaboration skills.
The Company
Incredibly well, HR did an amazing job at mixing insight presentations with desk rotations etc. My days were perfectly organized and I also knew what I had to do.
Everyone was incredibly helpful and I saw an atmosphere where people are not only individually brilliant but also there for each other and working collectively.
An adequate amount, since the purpose of the spring week is more to get an insight of the banking industry - learning happened in desk rotations.
Very well, since I got the opportunity of sitting with people and we practically lived on the trading floor.
Very well, since I got a feel of their values.
The rotational nature of the internship allowed me to get insight into a number of desks hence allowing me to start to form an opinion on what the job would be like.
Everything Else
The firm took great care of us and wanted us to feel valued.
Enormous opportunities - the whole internship is a networking event!
We had to be proactive, and approach new people to foster relationships. Not that many events.
Yes, GS encouraged us to get involved in gym activities etc.
Definitely, since it gives a good overview of the industry plus is great fun and learning opportunity.
