About You
I really enjoyed the insight. I learnt not all about what makes a good researcher and how to carry out valuation, but received invaluable information on what sets Goldman Sachs apart from all other investment banks.
I felt extremely valued throughout my time, all employees were always eager to help with any questions we had or even to sit and tell us more about their experiences. However, considering we were only working amongst other interns, we did not have that much of an impact to the firms work.
Recieved a lot of guidance and support, all employees were always eager to help with any questions we had or even to sit and tell us more about their experiences.
The skills i developed here mainly focused around my presenting skills and learning to be more self confident, which are invaluable skills to all aspects. In addition, I also learnt a lot more about the research department and a few financial skills, which will help when pursuing a career in finance.
The Company
The insight was extremely well structured, with an extremely busy schedule. There was no point during my time here where I was left bored or with nothing to do.
I loved the general atmosphere during my insight, everyone was extremely welcoming and willing to help.
The insight helped me a lot in understanding what it would be like to have a full time role with the company as it showed me the typical hours one would work, as well as the expectation of the work produced.
