About You
Pros: -Around a driven, diverse and highly talented class -Shadowed very impressive people, from Ops, HCM through S&T, who were willing to teach us even during auctions -Human capital was strong Cons: -We (our class) pushed eachother perhaps more than was necessary, i.e 14 hour day on average for a first year internship. Was fun though.
We were looked after well.
As and when requested. Feedback was also forced. HCM was incredible.
Developed the ability to work like a mule. I came into Goldman worried about exams, I am leaving confident I will succeed.
The Company
Very. Each session was entirely necessary and well placed in our timetable.
I will miss it.
I was continually pushed by employees. HCM encouraged us to push ourselves and their words resonated with me.
Direct exposure to the trading floor both timetabled and otherwise.
Focus on generating revenue through a tailored and unique client experience.
Everything Else
Salary was good.
It was essentially a 2 week networking event
Women's network events looked good.
Not really something that comes up in a desk rotation unless you ask directly. Hobbies barely appeared.
Never done anything like it and want this to be my career. So yes.
