The Role
I liked the internship experience, the job and my team. People I met during my internship made this experience invaluable.
It was the first time for me alone in a foreign countries. My colleagues tried to make me feel like at home. They give me fundamental professional advices but also personal suggestions and they helped me when I needed.
My supervisor was constantly present: he gave me frequent feedbacks during my experience and he helped me understand which my weaknesses were and how to improve.
The amount of tasks was directly proportional to my capacity and my willingness to improve. It often happened to go home later in the evening as the tasks were articulated and numerous.
Responsibility is proportional to the role you cover. Being an intern for a trading desk I was given the chance to present more than one trade idea in front of professional and expert traders: I was really running the show!
They skills and knowledge developed during this experience are invaluable for my actual studies. During my internship I covered some concepts that now I am using while writing my thesis.
The Company
Professional but at the same time there was synergy between colleagues: a perfect mix to build up a strong team!
The internship was organised in the minimum details: during the first day the HR gave all the intern a time schedule with all the most important events for the following 3 months. They organised not only teach ins for specific knowledge needed as interns but also social events to meet other people.
Unbelievable! There are no words to express the importance of training for JP Morgan. All the program can be thought as a training program.

Company Parties/Events
Professional career and financial remuneration are what JP Morgan offers to its employees. For young people there is nothing more important than an open-minded environment to express his/her abilities.
The Culture
Social responsibility day: during the internship all the interns spent a whole day helping the community with some helpful jobs (gardening, painting etc).
The company incentivised socialisation among interns and employers: they organised different events during the internship.
There is a gym in JP Morgan! But my team itself organised different events: we went out for dinner twice during my experience.
