The Role
It was very enjoyable, people were friendly and helpful and the work I did was relevant and useful to the team I was working on
Everyone was friendly and approachable regardless of seniority, I felt like a full employee and not just an intern
There was a lot of support resources, and we were assigned a buddy, a mentor, a manager, and a project supervisor(s) which has been all helpful
Quite busy but not too harsh, most days were 9-6
They let us interns do meaningful work that was relevant to what my team needed and we were allowed to do side projects which affect core platforms (with supervision)
Learned important skills such as teamwork, communication, working in a professional environment within a large company, working across teams and with people in different locations, etc.
The Company
Professional but relaxed
Very organised
There was a lot of support resources and we were provided with training sessions in the first two weeks and optional training sessions weekly
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
High chance of a full-time offer (as far as I know!)
The Culture
Definitely, there was almost 100 other interns in Technology alone
It's London so it's very expensive
It's in Central London, there was a lot of good (but expensive) bars/pubs/clubs nearby
Yes there were
