  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A highly pressured 10 weeks but rewarding, a interesting role and good colleagues.

  • Given tasks which were of genuine use to the team however as I wasn't approved to carry out the actual job, I had limited impact and value

  • Weekly sit down with my managers to provide feedback and guidance.

  • Daily tasks, shadowing, workshops and long term projects meant I was always busy

  • Not being FCA approved my responsibilities were limited

  • Very well organised

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We had numerous training sessions throughout the internship. Initially we had 5 days of formal training covering all of the basics. During the internship I received more specific training to the area I was working in (2/3 sessions a week).

  • We had a number of planned socials during the internship as well as informal drinks after work with colleagues and other interns.
