The Role
I found the work very enjoyable. The projects you get to work on are a combination of different technologies and you get the option to choose what job you'd prefer to do to help the team. The work is pretty fast paced and there is plenty to learn.
Since I worked mostly with other interns I felt that my contribution was just as valuable as anyone in the team.
Everyone seemed eager to support whenever I had a blocker of some sort. Everyone is keen on you learning as much as possible which means that as an intern you have plenty to take away from this internship.
There were not that many dull moments and at the same time I didn't feel overworked either.
I can't say that my contribution was mission critical but the project were real-world applications which go into production.
This internship really gives you a good picture of what developing outside of university feels like! It might not help you in university to much of an extent but it will definitely give you more confidence in the working environment
