The Role
I really enjoyed my time at JP Morgan
I felt extremely valued, was given meaningful tasks and never seemed to be an inconvenience to the team.
Everyone in my team was committed to helping me and it never seemed to be an issue for them to do so. Everyone made a conscious effort to introduce themselves to me and also make themselves available to help me when I needed it.
I was busy enough that I had things to get on with, some days were busier than others. However there was a good balance between working within your team and intern only events.
As I worked on my own project I was responsible for the development of that and was held to account for meeting the deadlines on this project.
I really did learn a great deal that will help me in my final year of study, as well as soft skills that will help in general.
The Company
There was a good balance within my team of discussion, general chat as well as getting the job done.
The intern placement set up really created a community within the interns and there was a good number of intern sessions.
There really is an opportunity to learn. The company provides a training hub for which you can train and invests that time in you. Also everyone else in my team was willing to help towards my development.

The Culture
There was a great social scene between the interns.
Glasgow is what I am used to, so cant really compare.
We were involved in a charity day through the company to give back to the local community.
