The Role
I loved my internship - my team were great, very supportive and always there to answer my questions. The work was interesting and I was given the opportunity to get involved with BAU activities and project work.
My colleagues were always giving me feedback which was almost always positive and I felt valued by the team as I was able to help with the work load.
My manager was fantastic, she gave clear feedback and helped me to set achievable objectives.
Quite busy, but I usually left at 6pm or before - the work-life balance was good.
I was given the responsibility to lead on the data analysis for a project and to present this to my manager's manager - this was a really good experience
I have developed better time management skills and become more efficient - this will help when I go back to university
The Company
Fun, hard-working with a good buzz, people were always keen to have a joke but were focused too on what they were working on
Fantastic - so many networking events and Q&A sessions - a Grade A Internship program
A lot of time was invested in training - from networking to Excell and presenting skills
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Hopefully, quite good.
The Culture
There are so many interns that there is always someone to go for a drink with after work or talk to if you have a problem - the interns became really good friends throughout the 10 weeks
London is expensive
Very good but again, expensive
There are lots of sports clubs, but I never got involved directly
