The Role
Really great internship, well planned and thought out. Fantastic division and a really lovely intake of interns that I will stay in touch with.
The team I worked in are absolutely amazing. Everyone made an effort to make me feel included, no matter how busy they made time to teach me things or explain how things work.
My manager was really great. She put in masses of effort to make sure I was well trained and met lots of people. For the first few weeks she created a full schedule for me filled with teach in sessions from across the division and personally introduced to different people. We had weekly catch up were she gave me detailed and constructive feedback. I feel really happy and appreciative
I was always busy and had things to do but never felt overwhelmed. There were a few late nights and weekends but that was completely my own choice.
I was given lots of important projects to complete. There are limits to how much I can do due to compliance/regulations.
This internship is not related to my degree and I have already graduated however I feel the things that I learned are very valuable.
The Company
Great atmosphere, lovely people who are very funny but still very professional.
It was very well organised most of the time.
We had numerous training sessions on the job as well a full week of training with an external teacher who was really great at his job.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
I would love to work here if I was given an offer.
The Culture
Amazing., we had lots of fun going for a drink after work around the Wharf.
It can be expensive but there are cheap places like All Bar One and Slug and Lettuce around Canary Wharf.
Although not any clubs in Canary Wharf, many bars that are open late and endless opportunities for clubbing in other areas of London.
There are lots of networking events. speeches and events.
