The Role
I really enjoyed it. JPM has lots of events and opportunities to meet people which was really great. The work was tough but not impossible and there was lots to learn
I really enjoyed working with my team who made me feel like any other person and not an intern
All collegues were willing to help if you approached them
Very busy, but in a good way - enough to make the time fly.
More than I had expected
Skills for the business world not necessarily for my degree. The ability to be corporate minded; excel skills; powerpoint; being professional
The Company
Lively and entertaining - never a dull moment
Really well organised. There were lots of events, networking and speaker events which were really interesting.
We had a week of intense training at the beginning which was a great start. This was also backed up with soft skills and Bloomberg training during the rest of the program. We also had teach-ins with JPM staff members throughout the 10 weeks to teach us specifics
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very, I would love to work here full time
The Culture
Really great. Being in canary wharf meant that everyone would congregate in the many bars/restaurants after work!
Expensive but that's London.
You are so close to the whole of London!!
Not massively - although there are quite a few teams you could try join
