Our world-class graduate programme
As a graduate trainee on our Relationship Management programme, we’ll give you the best possible start to your career by equipping you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact through your work.
Over the course of this two-year programme, you can expect to:
- Work directly with our customers to understand their challenges, assess their needs, and design and deliver solutions for them
- Support client relationship planning and execution across a wide range of products and services
- Get involved in shaping our innovation and digital agendas, improving customer journeys, and driving product simplification
- Build insights into key sectors such as manufacturing, technology, construction, land transport and logistics
- Complete a variety of placements across the other commercial banking streams which allows you to build a balance of depth and breadth of skills and experiences
- Enhance your capability by studying towards an industry recognised professional qualification
At the end of the programme, you’ll be well positioned to apply for jobs such as an Assistant Relationship Manager or Credit Delivery Associate.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for our Relationship Management graduate programme, you’ll need:
- To have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
- A strong customer focus
- The ability to build meaningful relationships
- Good communication skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- To be curious, and willing to openly challenge the status quo
