So, what will you will be responsible for?

Bringing energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:

• Placement position in the site safety and environment team
• Support site Safety, Environmental and Industrial Hygiene programs (Including Environmental programs (Waste, Waste, Air and Licensing), Sustainability, Auditing, Chemical Management etc.
• Support to Summer shut-down (3 weeks) – technical support to projects
• Develop and implement an improvement project within the department
• Partner with process improvement and subject matter experts on our team to assist program compliance
• This role encompasses exposure to a large number of safety and environmental programs, providing the candidate with opportunities to get involved with our site team and projects.

This internship will be completed in a hybrid model of virtual and on-site.

The ideal person will have:

• Working towards a Environmental Science qualification or relevant discipline or
• Enrolled in Safety or Environmental course at university. Typically, in year 2 or 3.
• Keen interest in learning within the pharmaceutical industry across multiple disciplines and project types
• Valuable exposure and insight into a wide range of management systems and programs in a busy plant.
• Training will be provided on all necessary operational aspects, relevant monitoring and risk assessment techniques.
