Register Your Interest - Sales Placement (Universal Pictures International)

Programme Essentials

To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Currently be studying at University as an undergraduate and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year or graduating in Summer 2026
2. Looking for work experience after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
3. Looking for employment after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

In addition, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 29th June 2026 - Friday 16th July 2027.

We strongly advise that you do not apply to more than 1 Internship role to ensure that you are considered for the Internship that you are most interested in and that your skills are aligned to

What will I be doing?

• Provide accurate and pro-active admin support to the UK Sales team, identifying and quickly responding to changing requirements and priorities
• Manage the daily box office downloads, checking and correcting any discrepancies and correlating final numbers for sign off with the Sales Manager
• Create an update Universal Slate Deck in PowerPoint to be used and updated by Sales Team at trade and industry
• Liaise with Finance support team in all Box Office receipt queries as required by sales team
• Maintain market release dates for all films in Universal Box Office system
• Organise exhibitor screenings & feedback, plus events when required to do so
• Run market analysis when required

Qualifications

What do I need to bring to the role?

• A flair for film and desire to pursue a career in the theatrical side of our industry
• Solid knowledge of all Microsoft office programs with particular focus on PowerPoint and Excel
• Some understanding of the specifics of film distribution
• Good communications skills both written and oral
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team
• Good attention to detail, coupled with accuracy and numeracy skills
• Enthusiasm and flexibility to cope with ever-changing demands from one release to the next
• Ability to apply initiative when required, work well within pressured timeframe and a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, shows initiative.
• Keen interest in film and cinema
