It was a good experience and I was provided with many opportunities which have helped to develop me as a person
It had just the right amount of challenge support education and responsibility for an internship I got to practice programming skills I had learnt at Uni putting what I had learnt in to context whilst learning all kind of new skills

I found that my work was really enjoyable I worked within a great team that worked together really well and I felt really well supported by the company overall giving me a wonderful year in my role
I enjoyed most of the placement Initially the workload was slow however this worked to my advantage as it gave me and my new team time to settle in to the company and find our feet The number of interns in the office was fantastic as we could

The IBM Extreme Blue is fantastic You get the opportunity to take control of a real project with access to all of IBMs resources you develop some fantastic skills especially in presentation and the whole this is a huge amount of fun
I had an amazing time at IBM I was given the level of responsibility way above my initial expectations The managers were really supportive and I was given many opportunities to further develop my skills
There was so much that I could involved in beyond the normal day to day job that I had Even though I was primarily in a finance role during my placement I was able to get involved with audits on two ocassions Something that I found really useful for my
It was a generally enjoyable experience however I had limited experience completing real work often left with heavily based administrative jobs such as completing excel sheets
Great internship I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in IBM I learned a lot and engaged in some thoughtprovoking work which I am proud to be part of

Really loved the company and the people However my job role did get a little boring at times but it did really allow me to improve my technical skills and develop on what I already knew
Even though it wasnt the job I originally applied for I thoroughly enjoyed the year and saw it as a chance to explore a business area that I may not have if I hadnt been given the opportunity of this particular role
