I did enjoy the job a lot but the company was going through a reorg so it was hard at times to find interesting work to do
greatly enjoyed the work and the workign environment and mostly the poeple were very helpful
This was a very good placement i was provided with a lot of responsibility and all the necessary training and support to carry it out well
Had an amazing time the company were great as were the people I worked with Really helped my with my final year
An invaluable experience
It was lot of fun with learning new chemistry and techniques
The work done and people I worked with were great however during my placement a lot of the staff were made redundant and the site closed which obviously altered the atmosphere greatly

Fantastic experience
I had a great time working at GSK there was a great team spirit and I was glad to realise I would actually spend nearly all of my time in the lab working on my own targets
There was little not to enjoy If you want to be a scientist it is a place to be to gain experience and have lots of fun
I enjoyed the placement but did not enjoy living in Stevenage very much In retrospect I would have moved to Cambridge and commuted
I really enjoyed my year at GSK the hardest part of the placement was adjusting to a full time job whilst all my friends were still at university
A truly enriching experience I had the opportunity not only to discover research in a global company but also to understand how a company works The topic of the placement really matched what I was looking for at that time
