Very valuable experience made some great friends
I loved working for GSK for the year they are an amazing company to work for and really make the effort to make you feel like more than an Industrial Placement 西瓜视频
There was no science in the job which was unfortunate as I am studying a Chemistry degree
I had a fantastic time on my placement I found the work engaging challenging and thoroughly enjoyable At no point did I feel that the work I was given was trivial derivative or demeaning
It was an amazing experience and despite the long commute and adjusting to full time work I loved it and have made some amazing friends
The placement was a mixture of IT and business skills related I would have liked the opportunity to develop more in IT skills The placement offered lots of positive opportunities for me that I made the most of its a great place to work if you are loo
This placement was thoroughly enjoyable as the company provides various extracurricular and team building activities
A truly enriching experience I had the opportunity not only to discover research in a global company but also to understand how a company works The topic of the placement really matched what I was looking for at that time
My placement was exciting varied insightful and it kept me busy I never in a million years imagined that I would be given the responsibility that I have been and I will walk away at the end of the year with a portfolio full the the brim
I have enjoyed my placement working in research and development but I dont think the job is for me This placement has helped me to realise that I prefer working in a manufacturing facility to working in a lab
As a chemist some of the work can be repetitive
Could not ask for a better Placement The job was brilliant and exactly what I wanted to do carry on doing when I finish University
I learnt alot of new skills and everyone in the company made me feel extremely welcome and part of the group
Everyone was very friendly and approachable there were lots of opportunities to get different training and it was very well structured
The people and working environment was very nice however it was somewhat slow paced for me
My placement year was brilliant I would definitely recommend GSK as a company to work for on your placement year as well as in the future
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement the only drawback was that it was not directly related to my degree area but nevertheless I feel that I have learnt many useful skills and am extremely glad I chose this placement
GSK is a great company to work in my department is especially fun the people make the work great and Im given enough challenge in my job
