The internship was very enjoyable from the first week of training in Birmingham to the last couple of days in London
The day had a variety of activities to make the day fun and interesting
The insight was only for a short day but within this day there was lots of useful information and all of the activities were interesting and useful
The insight day was enjoyable but it would have been better if I could have actually experienced what a day to day job would have felt like there eg a tour perhaps
It provided me with a real insight into the day to day running of BDO as I was able to interact with a variety of individuals at different stages of their careers
I was kept busy at all times lots of opportunities

Really enjoyed it everyone in the office made me feel at home and valued I was also given a lot of responsibility which is important
I thoroughly enjoyed my time and it has reaffirmed that I would like to work in accountancy

A worthwhile internship
The internship at BDO had a good structure and was very organised I worked in the Manchester office and had a great counselling manager who looked after me and two other interns for the 6 weeks The work was varied and if you were particularly interested

There were highs and lows of the internship As it was a quiet season for audit there wasnt much work available in the office However when on site with a client there was lots to do which makes it enjoyable
I really enjoyed my 6 weeks at BDOs audit department I was given responsibility similar to a graduate trainee and was given a chance to intereact with clients very early on
