I made friends with people that I will keep in touch with
everyone really nice and happy to help lots of exposure to senior people
Was a good and enjoyable placement but I would have enjoyed more variety in the programme structure
This is the most enjoyable work I have ever undertaken The longer I stayed the more I enjoyed myself and felt more part of the team
Fantastic program run with amazing efficiency and tailored to give a good balance of hard work learning and networking
I was randomly place in a team which was not customer facing as I had hoped however an interesting project combined with a good group project which broke up the week made the internshiop great fun
Had to spend the first week or so getting used to the organisation and its rather complex structure Definitely gained a huge amount of experience and learnt a massive amount about the banking industry and the role of IT within the financial sector and B
Had great fun and got to take part in some great activitys dragon boating and working in a school for a day The work was enjoyable but slightly tiedious at times and due to location did feel slightly isolated at times
I did enjoy the variety of the work I was given as they ranged from qualitative to quantitative and I also got the chance to go through law case studies as well I was lucky enough to do some work for Barcap where I could go work in the Barcap office as
I enjoyed the internship overall Even though there is a lot of space for improvements within the program
A lot of training and support mechanisms were provided during this internship and there was also a lot of variation on a day to day basis This made the whole experience enjoyable
The internship was very enjoyable because there was always a variety of things to do I never had a chanceto get bored
Most of the time I was really involved in the work I was doing an enjoyed it greatly
The work was interesting and diverse and it gave a good insight into what it may be like to work there as a graduate The interns also got to take part in exciting team building and charity events adding a new dimension to the internship
I really enjoyed this placement and would recommend anyone to do the same I think the only reason I did not rate all stars is because not everybody had such a wellstructured and enjoyable placement
Barclays is a fantastic company to work for and would recommend to any graduate The scheme is well organised and support fantastic Very easy to socialise between interns
